Dr. Swati Dadarao Yeotkar is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Botany at Vidya Vikas Arts, Commerce and Science College, Samudrapur, Dist. Wardha. She holds M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Botany and has over 12 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and 7 years at the postgraduate level. Her academic and research interests include plant physiology, biochemistry, phytochemical analysis, molecular biology, medicinal plants, ethnobotany, and plant biotechnology. She has published numerous research papers, authored textbooks, contributed chapters to national and international books, and holds a patent. She has also served as a resource person, chairperson, jury member, examination supervisor, and coordinator of various academic programmes, workshops, and conferences. Her commitment to teaching, research, innovation, and academic development reflects her significant contribution to higher education in Botany.

Administrative Experience

I have actively contributed to various academic, administrative, examination, and institutional activities. I have served as the Coordinator of the Certificate Course in Internet Applications and have been coordinating the Certificate Course in Gardening under the Lifelong Learning and Extension Programme of RTMNU, Nagpur, since 2022.

I have also served as Chief Examination Supervisor for RTMNU examinations and as a member of examination and vigilance squads. In addition, I have undertaken question paper setting for postgraduate Botany courses and contributed to various academic committees and institutional activities. I have been actively involved in organizing conferences, workshops, Pre-Ph.D. coursework, NSS camps, and student development programmes.

My administrative experience also includes participation in university-level academic responsibilities, coordination of certificate courses, organization of academic and co-curricular programmes, and involvement in various institutional activities aimed at promoting academic excellence and overall student development.
