Vidya Vikas College, Samudrapur, celebrated Ozone Layer Conservation Day on 4th October 2024 with great enthusiasm and a firm commitment to spreading environmental awareness. The program aimed to emphasize the critical importance of preserving the ozone layer and instilling a sense of responsibility among students and the community. The event was graced by several dignitaries on the dais, including Vice Principal Dr. Naina Shirbhate, Chief Guest Dr. Archana M. Bhende, Dr. Shilpa Samdurkar (IQAC Coordinator), and Dr. Nitesh Shambharkar. The program commenced with an insightful lecture by Mr. Sadanand Sarve, HOD of Physics, who highlighted the global significance of ozone layer preservation and its direct impact on sustaining life on Earth.
