About Our Department

The Department of English plays an important role in the development of heterogeneous personalities of students. The department was established in June 1989. That was the year when our college come into existence. The department caters to all three streams of Arts, Commerce and Science. In the beginning session, the department of English seeks permission from the principal to form the English language study circle. Through the study circle, we conduct various programs like birth anniversaries of eminent writers, group discussions, students’ seminars, etc. The prime aim of the department is to develop confidence among the students so that they can communicate in English. The faculties of the department are very friendly and always ready to help students. The department follows rules and regulations of R. T. M. Nagpur University, Nagpur regarding curricular activities.
