About Our Department

Economics, as a subject, has been taught in the college since the establishment of the college i.e. 1989. The department follows the rules and regulations led down by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, and the college.Through our department, after the inauguration of the study circle of Economics, we arranged various types of programmes like an industrial visit, study tour, guest lecture etc. The department also works on value-added programs. In our Library, there are 456 books on the subject of Economics, and cost of those books is Rs. 80381. In our library, many journals and magazines provide information about economics. The library has N-List facility that gives access to online journals.The teacher of the department interacts with the students and is always ready to help them through committees like Mentor-Mentee.

Our Features

The faculty of Economics tries to solve the problems of the students. Students are evaluated from time to time. For that purpose that, the following practices are conducted: oral test, unit test, assignment, university exam.We visit the Credit Society. The aim of the visit is to know the working process of credit society and the process of withdrawal and deposits.The department of Economics arranges an industrial visit. The aim of the Industrial visit is to understand the process of production and overall management of the factory.
