Event Description

Breast feeding week is celebrated every year from 1st to 7th August to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world Department of Home economics in association lifelong learning and extension dept.organizes celebration of importance of breast feeding program. As a part of this activity Department organized guest lecture on 10 /08 /2023.. The guest of honor was Dr. N. S. Shirbhate Vice Principal , Vidya Vikas Mahavidyalaya Samudrapur Dist .Wardha .The guest was Dr. Ravi Prasad Narwade, rural hospital , Samudrapur he delivered the lecture on “Breast feeding and Immunity “ Dr Ankita Haigune presided over the programme and delivered a brief speech on the importance of breast feeding in healthy growth and development of child. At the end of the programme Priti Nijam proposed the vote of thanks.
