On 20th August 2024, the Department of English organized a guest lecture on “The Role of English Language in Competitive Examination”. The programme was commenced at 11.00 am at the auditorium hall of the college. Dr. Kishorchandra Rewatkar, the principal of the college and the president of the programme, spoke upon the importance of English Language in today’s scenario. He insisted that English Language itself gives a confidence to students in the cut throating competition of the world. The chief speaker, Dr. Sanjay Diwekar, an assistant professor of English at Shri. Saibaba Lok Probadhan College Wadner, underlined the importance of grammar and comprehension in the competitive examination. He motivated students to prepare for competitive examination. Students from B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. were benefited by this programme. In his introductory speech, Dr. V. Rajesham highlighted the importance of a guest lecture in students’ developoment. Dr. Ganesh Bele anchored the programme while Dr. Prakash Tale proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Nitin Akhuj worked hard for the success of this programme.
